The Night Spinner was a captivating fantasy novel that is also a Hunchback of Notre Dame retelling, say whaaaaaaat. Honestly as soon I saw that I was immediately all for it 🙌.
The world of The Night Spinner was lavish and well drawn out. I loved the authors tone. We are also given a fair amount of characters to fall in love with. I’d say our MC,Enebish, was my absolute fave. She is constantly growing and changing and I love that in a character. We’ve also got villians, morally grey characters (such a sucker for them tbh😏😏), and a sweet bby cinnamon roll.
Whilst starting out slow, the plot picks up pace once you’re a few chapters in and then you won’t be able to put it down. Watch out for the plot twists they will getcha!! Overall, I adored this retelling and cant wait for the next book( yes this is a DUOLOGY)
